You have seen in a few posts how I feel about buying meat from the supermarket,if you are new to my blog I really do not like buying meat from the supermarkets any more the reasons behind this are simple.
You do not really know what you are eating, how fresh it is and where it comes from so for My family I like finding companies and places I can buy the freshest tastiest meats,I normally buy from our local abattoir for our beef as I know that it is fresh that day we go there.
When I get the chance to try out companies that do meat box schemes etc I am always happy to test them out.
That is where today's company comes in and I must say I have nothing but praise for Their quality, service and I would be happy to buy from them in future.
Battens Farm is run by the Baker family from Nailsea, North Somerset. They supply meat boxes nationwide. They combine experience, skills and passion for meat to provide the ultimate meat box delivery service - from pasture to plate. As a family They have over 100 years of experience in the meat sector, and the family business is now into its 5th generation.
Their small abattoir and butchery facility is run by Toby, Russell and James Baker. The farm, run by Danny and George Baker.
I was sent a Small Regular Meat Box which normally costs £50..
You can choose to have regular meat boxes delivered fresh to your door every two, four or six weeks.Buy meat online confident of a fantastic regular delivery service - available nationwide - enabling you to plan a host of healthy and delicious meals. You will find discounted prices and lots of flexibility with the regular box subscription. Personally this is the choice I would go for so that I do not have to worry about buying my meat from the store every month Battens Farm will take care of it all for me :).
Also in around 3 weeks time regular customers will be ale to log in and amend the contents of your boxes so you do not have to be stuck with the same products or sesonal products you will be able to choose everything.
